Lori Chavez Deremar, a pro-Republican whose Secretary of Labor was taken away by President Donald Trump, testified before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on Wednesday, saying she was told by the Senate. I’m following questions about support. Organizing (professional) behavior.

Chavez Deremar supported Pro Act as representative of Oregon’s 5th Congressional District. She told the senator on Wednesday that she no longer supports the aspects of professional law that overturned the Republican-backed rights law.

The Pro Act effectively kills state-level laws that prevent employers and unions from requiring workers to pay union fees as a condition of employment. R-KY. Republicans, including Senator Rand Paul of the company, opposed the professional law by overturning the workplace rights law. Paul said that if she continues to support the pro law, he will not support her.

“If she was wrong in her support for Proact and wanted to make an official statement that she wasn’t anymore, I was thinking about her nomination,” Paul said ahead of Chavez Delemer’s hearing. He spoke to Fox News Digital.

“So you no longer support aspects of professional law that would have overturned the state’s right to labor law?” Paul asked at the hearing.

Chavez-Deremer overturned the state’s workplace rights law and agreed that he no longer supports the professional law aspects.

“Like President Trump, we believe our labor laws need to be updated and modernized to reflect today’s workforce and business environment,” Chavez Deremar said Wednesday. “As a member of Congress, the Pro Act was a bill that would have a deep and important conversation with people in Oregon’s Fifth Congressional District. I recognize that the bill is incomplete and I no longer have Oregon. I also realize that I am not representing it. Member of Parliament.”

R-Ala. Sen. Tommy Tuberville also asked Chavez Deremar about professional laws and questioned whether Alabama would change the rights of labor laws.

“My constituents at home want to know that. Would you try to change our status as a workplace right?” Tuberville asked at the hearing.

“I respect the fact that you come from the workplace rights state and the fact that you can remain a workplace rights state,” said Chavez Deremar.

Chavez Deremar emphasized the distinction between representing Oregon as a lawmaker and representing Trump’s agenda as Secretary of Labor.

“I was representing the 5th district of Oregon so I signed on to Proact, but I was at the table and wanted to have those conversations so I signed on to Proact. – for work,” says Chavez. Deremar said.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (IV.T.) has questioned whether Chavez Deremar will support her parental union values or bend her knees to Trump’s “authoritarian” rules. The hearing has begun.

“You have to make a choice. You are the blatantly anti-union Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and other billionaires anti-worker agendas of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of billions of other anti-workers agendas. Will it be a rubber stamp?” Sanders asked.

“Or do you stand with working families all over the country? That’s really the main question. It’s not just your record. This is a very unusual administration. In my view, we are “Power is where people are heading towards a huge authoritarian society,” Sanders added.
