JFK’s grandson took him to Instagram on Tuesday and Wednesday, accusing President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of “stealing the past” from the American people.
“I’m fine, but not in our country,” Jack Schlossberg, former President John F. Kennedy’s only grandson, said in an Instagram post Tuesday. “It’s under attack from its own government.”
The 32-year-old Doge is a “propaganda generation” that doesn’t cut spending.

Doge, a temporary White House organization that will last 18 months, was created by an executive order earlier this year. He is responsible for optimizing the federal government, streamlining operations, and reducing spending.
Schlossbury announced a few weeks ago that he had left social media, but the post came after confirming that the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and the museum were closed “until further notice” Tuesday.
“The sudden firing of a federal employee at JFK Library forced the museum to close today,” according to the statement. “As the foundation for supporting the JFK Library, we are devastated by this news and will continue to support our colleagues and libraries.”

Schlossberg, who served on several library committees, panned the camera into framed photographs with handwritten messages that he believed to have been given to him by astronauts, and his grandfather took to space exploration. I told the library that I would never know that I hadn’t contributed.
“JFK sent a guy to the moon, but if the JFK library wasn’t open and no one was allowed to talk about it, you never knew that,” he said.
“Now is the time to say what’s going on and resist,” Schlossberg said. “If you haven’t, you’re not helping.”
The rant was first posted on Instagram, but Schlossberg shared the video on X and called out organizational leader Elon Musk directly.

“Hey doge eat s — buddy 🙂 @elonmusk,” he wrote.
Just a few weeks ago, Schlossberg posted to X. He says there’s nothing “heroic” about President Donald Trump issuing an executive order to declassify the JFK files.
“The truth is much sadder than myths. It’s a tragedy that doesn’t have to happen. It’s not part of an inevitable grand scheme,” he wrote. “Declassification uses JFK as a political prop.
Schlossberg worked on Barack Obama’s presidential campaign during high school, and later supported Chris Murphy, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

A young Kennedy, who has both Yale and Harvard degrees, has attracted nearly 600,000 followers on Instagram, with much of his content centred on video rants.
In subsequent videos, Schlossberg blows up “Kick” Kennedy and his uncle Robert F. Kennedy Jr., sworn as health and welfare secretary on Thursday.
He also attacked cousin Joe Kennedy III for not making a comment against RFK Junior, who was called “Uncle Schmack.”

“This is my cousin Joe. I’m happy to do the media right now, but I can’t find the courage to say about rfkjr. “Grow a pair or sit down.”
The photo he posted Wednesday afternoon featured Schlossberg shirtless, wearing feathers around his neck, featuring a slightly covered woman.
One was characterized by the bottoms of the two women being prominently pointed to the camera, which was later removed.
“To make me look professional all the time,” he wrote along with one of the photos.
