A man from Haskell, Oklahoma called 911 after hearing him return to his residence amidst the cold gging.
Rhet Wike filmed a video of a little girl standing outside at record freezing temperatures, wearing only her pyjamas.
The video shows a barefoot girl standing outside the door of the house moving back and forth on the cold ground, repeatedly saying, “I’m cold, I’m cold.”
Week said he got mad when he heard the foster parents tell the girl they needed to “stop whining.” Wike said the girl was outside for at least 10 minutes before police arrived.

Wike submitted a report to the Oklahoma Human Services. This has issued the following statement:
“The safety and well-being of children in our state, especially foster children, is a top priority for Oklahoma Human Services. We are aware of this situation, but we are committed to providing additional details at this time. We cannot. But we want to reassure the public. All safety concerns related to this situation are being addressed.”
Haskell Police reportedly recommended criminal charges with the Muscogee County District Attorney’s Office.
