The suspect’s driver was arrested after crashing while chasing in Simi Valley.
On February 14th, officers were patrolling near Sequoia Avenue and Coastal Oak Drive around 11pm when the driver noticed the stop sign was running.
When police tried to hand over the driver, the suspect retreated before speeding up and led the officers in the pursuit.

The suspects crashed at high speed, and after driving recklessly on the surface street, they eventually crashed into a pole near the Onramp on the Eastbound 118 Highway.
Photos from the arrest show the damaged vehicle stopped in a brush area near the on-ramp. Inside, police found two suspects with minor injuries from the impact.
The driver was taken into custody and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for felony avoidance.
No further details were released, including the driver’s identity.
