He became the latest victim of illegal street racers in Los Angeles after being cornered on the road on Saturday, according to LA police.
The fatal hit and run is one of a series of injuries and deaths related to street racing and street takeovers in Los Angeles.
The incident occurred around 10pm on Saturday in a race with a gray dodge charger and a dark Chevrolet Tahoe, according to Los Angeles police.
The victim was walking outside an unmarked crosswalk in Normandy and was hit by a dodge.
The driver, after hitting the victim, fails to stop and render aid, fleeing the scene. The woman was declared dead at a local hospital.

Street races and takeovers have a long and deadly local history. Southern California has long been the epicenter of high-speed motor vehicle culture.
A 2018 Los Angeles Times analysis of coroner records, police reports and media accounts from 2000 to 2017 found that at least 179 people died in Los Angeles County on street racing allegations.
