The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office deputy is one of 18 people charged by a major ju judge this week with a “sophisticated” drug smuggling operation within the county prison system.
Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced his removal from the Big Ju Court’s charges Tuesday evening, adding that he was targeting a network of criminals who worked with fellow Mexican mafia prison gangsters.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Miser was arrested last May on suspicion of his role. He worked at Castatic’s North County Correctional Facility as an investigator for the prison’s anti-gang squad.
