Pope Francis spent another “peaceful evening” at Gemeri Hospital in Rome, where he continues to receive treatment for double pneumonia on Wednesday morning, the Vatican said.
The Holy Shee did not provide further updates on the condition of the 88-year-old clergyman.
On Tuesday, the Vatican said Francis continued to show slight improvements despite remaining in danger. He resumed work and was eating normally, the Vatican added.
Francis was admitted to Gemeri Hospital on February 14th, and was later diagnosed with double pneumonia or pneumonia in both lungs. Church officials said the Pope’s prognosis remains “reserved,” while additional CT scans were ordered Tuesday to monitor his lungs.
It was unclear whether the Holy Teachers remained in a critical state on Wednesday, but the Holy Teachers were expected to offer further renewal.
