Hollywood celebrates the life and career of actress Michel Tratchenberg.
The 39-year-old, who has been acting since she was three, is a welcome millennial icon starring in hit songs like Harriet The Spy, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, 17 Again, Gossip Girl, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Rosie O’donnell, Trachtenberg’s “Harriet the Spy” Costar, issued a statement to Weekly about his passing.
“It’s heartbreaking,” she told the outlet. “I loved her so much. She’s been struggling with the last few years. I wish she could help.”

“SNL” actor Kenan Thompson paid tribute to his fellow Nickelodeon alums by posting a video of a throwback to the network sketches and posting pictures of him as a young adult.

“Our first Nick movie star has left us!!” Thompson wrote. “She was my friend and now she’s resting!! Check out your people!!!”
Kim Cattrall posted a photo of the two in the 2005 film “Ice Princess,” captioned “Lest in Please Sweet Michelle.”
“Sorry, your bright light has passed away so young,” wrote former Buffy co-star Emma Caulfield in a post on her Instagram story. “Our Buffy family lost their sister today… a lovely, peaceful mischmisch. You were loved.”
Another “Buffy” co-star James Masters wrote a sweet note about the actress.
“My heart is heavy today. We have lost a beautiful soul. Michelle was a fiercely intelligent, howling, yet extremely talented. She died very young and leaves us with the score of those who know and love her,” he wrote on Instagram along with a photo of the two.
“My heart is directed towards her family who is a good person and suffers from the greatest losses that anyone can endure. I hope that everyone can give them space to heal during this most difficult time.

“Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick also paid tribute to his co-stars in a post on Instagram story.
“It’s so sad to hear of Michel Tratchenberg’s passing,” he wrote. “Send a prayer.”
New York police found that Trutchenberg was unconsciously unresponsive in his Manhattan apartment at 8am Wednesday. She was declared dead at the scene.
A police spokesman said the death was currently uninvested as suspected.
The cause of death will be revealed when an inspector is autopsy.
