Luna didn’t go well.
After she began vomiting, the seven-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog family ran through her to a Covid veterinary center. The puppy’s abdomen was firm and bloated.
Luna is bounced back after the surgery, the doctor said.

On February 16, veterinarians at the Corona Animal Emergency Center performed abdominal exploration surgery at Luna, removing an astounding 44 objects. Most of them were socks, the emergency center wrote on Instagram.
X-ray photographs showed a large accumulation in Luna’s stomach and intestines.
X-rays showed a buildup of the dog’s intestines. This was blocked by two dozen socks, Onesie and others.

She was able to consume 24 socks, a shushee, two hair tie, shoe inserts, one-sie, and multiple fabrics.
Surprisingly, Luna survived the surgery and returned with her family. Veterinary experts at the emergency center said she was lucky to be alive.
“If your dog swallows something unusual, don’t wait. Act quickly and contact your vet,” the office wrote.
“We are very pleased that Luna is being restored,” the office wrote in the comment. Her family has implemented a solid prevention plan, including protecting the puppy Proof’s home, working with supervised playtime, and working with trainers to help her develop good habits.
