“CBS Morning” co-anchor Gale King, singers Katy Perry and Lauren Sanchez will become one of the entire female crew members who will blow up Jeff Bezos’ blue origins, known as “historic” spaceflight.
NASA Rocket scientist Aishe Bowe, producer Kerianne Flynn and civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen will also be taking part in the spring launch, Blue Origin announced Thursday.
The company has put together the mission, philanthropist and Bezos’ fiancee, Sanchez, who said, “She is honored to lead a team of explorers on a mission that challenges the perspective of the planet, empowers them to share their stories, and creates lasting impact that inspires the coming generation.”

Other well-known names also brought blue origins to the Kalman Line, the internationally recognized boundary of the universe. “Star Trek” actor William Shatner and “Good Morning Americas” Michael Strahan set out on separate trips in 2021.
Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000.
The launch marks its 11th flight as part of Blue Origin’s new Shepard program. The company noted that the flight marks the first flight crew since 1963, consisting of all women.
