Yolanda Malody, 53, also known as Yolanda Oreziniczack, is a suspect in the murder of his wife, Rebecca Malody, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. It was revealed that 49-year-old Rebecca Malodi was stabbed to death on February 17th at Ramona’s residence. The couple were married for just over two years, according to a sheriff’s murder investigator who cited their family.

Yolanda Malodi is believed to have fled to Mexico. Authorities issued a warrant for her arrest.

According to public records, the suspect and the victim shared the same address.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by KABC-TV News, on February 17, Rebecca Marody’s mother, Lorena, called 911 and said her daughter was stabbed at her home on Rancho Villa Road. Detectives arrive to find Rebecca Malodi, who suffered a stab wound to the neck, chest and abdomen. They attempted lifesaving measures, but they were asserted that she was dead at the scene.

Lorena told detectives that Rebecca Malody told Yolanda Malody a week ago that she was ending the marriage, the warrant told her. The next day, in a home security video reviewed by the detective, Rebecca Malody is seen running from a woman believed to be Yolanda Malody.

“Yolanda! Please…! I don’t want to die!” cried Rebecca Malody, according to the warrant. Yolanda Malodi is seen in blood on her arm.

“I should have thought of that before,” replied Yolanda Malody while standing on Rebecca Malody, holding the knife. Yolanda Malody told her wife to enter the house, but Rebecca Malody repeatedly told her to call 911.

About ten minutes later, Yolanda Marodi was captured with a security camera collecting his pets and luggage and loading them into a Chevrolet equinox SUV. She drove, and her car was recorded by the Department of Homeland Security, who entered Mexico late that night.

Cal Fire, where she worked, said, “It is a great sadness that Cal Fire is reporting the unjust death of Fire Captain Rebecca Becky Malody. Captain Malody has served mainly at Cal Fire for over 30 years in Riverside County, but also spent time in San Bernardino and San Diego Counties.
