Sabrina Carpenter has exciting news for North American fans. She added additional feet to her “Short N’Sweet” tour. The singer returns to major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Toronto and Pittsburgh, bringing infectious energy and chart topping hits to fans who missed the first 33 days of the tour.
In a post shared on the official Instagram page on Thursday morning, Carpenter excitedly revealed the news, saying, “You asked, and we heard!!! We were excited to announce the extra legs of the short n’ sweet tour. She continued.
Due to overwhelming demand after the previous leg was sold out, Carpenter is bringing the show back to fans who missed their first run. On the new tour dates, she will perform again in Los Angeles at the crypto.com arena for three nights.
Ticket pre-sale begins on Tuesday, March 4th at 10am local time with an exclusive cash app card pre-sale followed by the team before Sabrina Pre at 12pm local time. General sales will be open at 10am local time on Friday, March 7th, with tickets available for purchase on Sabrina’s official website.
Her sixth studio album, Short n’Sweet, gained traction soon after its release, further solidifying Carpenter’s position as a pop powerhouse. Although she is known for her Disney star roots, the opening of Taylor Swift’s “ERAS Tour” time allowed her to gain even more recognition as she was able to bring her own unique sound and style to an even bigger stage.
On Valentine’s Day, the deluxe edition of “Short n’Sweet” was released. This included five new tracks and collaborated with Dolly Parton. The duo collaborated for the country twister of Carpenter’s previously released song “Please Please Please,” featuring a player-like black and white music video.
Carpenter, known for her theatrical music video and acting background, also collaborated with Jenna Ortega on her single “Taste.”
Despite her hilarious persona and theatrical artistry, Carpenter occasionally sparked controversy with her music videos. For example, some of the videos for her song “Feather” were filmed at Brooklyn Church, causing an investigation of a priest who allegedly misinterprets the church’s funds.
Earlier this month, Carpenter won two Grammy Awards.
