It surfaced the moment police were informed of the deaths of Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa.
95 legendary actors and 64 his wives were found dead in bodies along with one of three dogs.
“I think we just found two or one deceased person in the house,” one of the workers who identified themselves as “the caretaker of the plot,” said NBC News in a phone call on February 27, “There’s no one here. I’m waiting for you.
However, the caller struggled to relay where the officials should be sent, claiming that the property had “no address.”
“We don’t have an address here, so we have to meet there,” he continued. “Then the police once [or] Anyone [are] At the gatehouse, I lift them up here. ”

And when asked to determine if Hackman and Arakawa were breathing, the caretaker repeatedly stated that he “don’t know.”
“I’m not in the house,” he explained. “It’s closed. It’s locked. I can’t get in, but I see them lying – she’s lying through the window.”
The caretaker is also sure his body will not move, and at one point he tells the 911 operator, “Man, they’re not moving. Just send someone here really quickly.”
After a while, the operator temporarily dropped the call, “I hardly understand you. You’re coming and going.”
But in the end, the caretaker was able to see where the officers should meet him.
“I don’t know the gate number, but I can bring them home,” the caller said towards the end of the conversation.
It was discovered that Arakawa and Hackman, who married in 1991, had died by officers responding in another room in their New Mexico residence. Authorities said they believe the couple, who showed signs of “body dismantling,” “inflation,” and “mimi-fiction,” died in “at least one day,” according to an affidavit obtained by NBC News.
Police say the couple, who married in 1991, was found with their dog after a neighbor who called police to do welfare checks.
Since the news of their deaths, the Sante Fe Sheriff’s Office said authorities have deemed the tragedy situation “suspectful” and have been opening a “full search and investigation.” The examiner said that when trying to determine the cause of death, local medical inspectors requested carbon monoxide and toxicity testing.
In the wake of the tragedy, several Hackman’s friends, colleagues and admirers have paid tribute to his legacy.
“Gene Hackman [was] Francis Ford Coppola, who directed the actor in 1974’s Conversation, was a great actor who was touching and magnificent with his work and complexity, and wrote on Instagram on February 27th.
Reflecting that sentiment, Tom Hanks said in his own Instagram post “There was no “Gene Hackman type.” There was only Gene Hackman. ”
