Dn.Y.’s Governor Kathy Hochul’s press conference was suddenly closed after a group of anti-Israeli protesters disrupt the event.
The governor planned a press conference at City University of New York (Cuny) on Thursday, but was cancelled due to a planned protest outside the governor’s event, according to the onsite director of the New York Police Department.
Approximately 35 protesters were heard chanting at the entrance to Cuny.

Several arrests were made during the protest, according to Fox News on the scene.

“Governor Hochul directed Cuny to immediately remove the job and conduct a thorough review of the position to ensure that anti-Semitic theories are not promoted in the classroom,” a spokesman for Hochul told the New York Post about the decision.
The protest comes exactly one day later, 50 anti-Israeli agitators who took over the Bernard University building in New York City on Wednesday evening.
