The biggest night in Hollywood arrives, and the KTLA 5 has boots on the ground, bringing all the action.
KTLA’s Omar Lewis was almost alone on the Oscar red carpet outside Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday, in the figurative, and literally calm before the storm.
“I own a red carpet here,” Lewis said as he strolled the carpet with dozens of stars on Sunday. “This is where glamour comes across money.”
Fans had already gathered outside on Sunday mornings.
Some stars who later walk the carpet include Adrian Brody (“Brutalist”) and Demi Moore (“Material”) who like to win the best lead actor and actress awards, respectively.
Meanwhile, the best photo laces are still wide open as ever. “Anola” is a favorite because he did well during previous award seasons, but “Conclave” victory is far from the most shocking upset of Oscar’s most valuable awards.
