President Donald Trump’s seventh week in office will sponsor the first joint session of Congress speech since returning to his elliptical office in January.
Trump is scheduled to speak before all Congresses on Tuesday at 9pm ET.
The speech is not officially referred to as a state of coalition, as Trump is not resident all year round, despite Trump working in the same way. The annual presidential speech is intended to showcase the government’s achievements and policies.
Trump and his administration have worked at a fierce pace to restructure the federal government with the president’s great American policies, including the government’s efficiency committee chair Elon Musk and his team pondering federal agencies for prioritization of overexpenditure, fraud, mismanagement and border security. Since taking office in January, the 47th president has signed at least 76 executive orders, along with dozens of other enforcement actions and declarations.

The speech comes after Trump and Vice President JD Vance held a fiery meeting with Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky on Friday.
The White House meeting was tense about 10 minutes later after Vance said peace would reach between Russia and Ukraine through US diplomatic efforts.
“You’re living and gambling for millions of people,” Trump added at one point during the meeting. “You’re gambling with World War II. You’re gambling with World War II. And what you’re doing is very rude to this country, to this country.”

Vance stepped in and asked Zelensky if “this entire meeting once said thank you.” He also added that Zelensky should “go to Pennsylvania and campaign for the opposition in October” and “providing a thank you to the president who is trying to save the United States and your country.”
Trump said on social media after the meeting that Zelensky could return to the White House “when peace is ready.”
Zelenskyy traveled to the UK over the weekend, joined European leaders and lifted a potential peace deal.

British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer told local media he spoke to Trump and France’s Emmanuel Macron about Britain and France’s holding the reins about creating a peace plan presented to the United States.

“Let me be clear, we agree with Trump about the urgent need for durable peace. Now we need to save together,” the star said at a press conference on Sunday. He added that the UK would be happy to place “boots” in support of Ukraine.
“The UK is ready to back this up with ground boots and airplanes. With others, Europe must do heavy lifting. But for our continent and for success, this effort must gain strong US support,” he added.

In addition to addressing Congress and continuing efforts related to the war in Ukraine this week, Trump is also expected to strike Canada and Mexico with tariffs on Tuesday.
Last month, Trump signed an executive order that allowed tariffs in Mexico, Canada and China through the new International Emergency Economic Force Act. The tariffs included a 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and a 10% tariff on imports from China.

Both Canada and Mexico agreed to concessions with Trump the day before the tariffs came into effect, pledged to send additional security guards to their respective borders with US Trump, and agreed to suspend tariffs from both countries for a month in light of border security concessions.
This week’s suspension ends this week, with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick saying it will come into effect Tuesday on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” but he did not elaborate on what the tariffs will entail.
“It’s a fluid situation,” Rutnick said.

“There will be tariffs in Mexico and Canada on Tuesday. We’ll leave it for the president and his team to negotiate,” he added.
