Hundreds of Los Angeles fire victims received heavy, hugging and life-saving mental health support from a cute turnip on Monday.
These specialist treatment teddy bears are called “Comfortable Cubs” and were donated to everyone who needs to pass through the LA Dream Center, especially for fire survivors.
“The Comfort Cub” is a Southern California nonprofit organization.
The Cubs are specially designed to help heal “hard heart syndrome” in adults, but it is fatal. It was created by experts in grief syndrome.
Adults and children have also proven to benefit from holding them.
Turnip weight has been scientifically proven to relieve stress-induced cardiomyopathy.
The nonprofit founder says the “deep touch” pressure from embracing these weighted cubs causes the pleasant hormones in the brain to relieve chest pain. It could be from anxiety, stress, or depression.
A separate turnip will be donated for every weighted turnip you purchase.
The Comfort Cub also donated more turnips to fire victims in Pasadena in “The School Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.”
The school will hand out Cubs this month to all students and educators affected by the fire.
