President Donald Trump spoke to both Congresses Tuesday evening in a vast speech that lasted more than 90 minutes to both Congresses.
The speech marked Trump’s first speech before Congress as he regained his oval office in January. Similar to the union’s speech, Trump’s speech did not list the same official titles that he had not been with for a year.
Fox News Digital has compiled the top five moments from Trump’s speech, including democratic protests, the “US, US, US” chant, and Trump, who revealed that top terrorists have been arrested.
1. Trump sets a speech record while declaring that “America is back.”
According to the UC Santa Barbara U.S. Presidential Project, Trump notched the longest speech the president delivered before a joint Congressional session for about 40 minutes. The longest speech on the previous record was held by former President Bill Clinton after an hour and 28 minutes of speaking in a 2000 Union address.
“For my fellow citizens, America is back,” Trump declared at the start of his speech on Tuesday.
“Six weeks ago I stood under the dome of this Capitol building and declared the dawn of America’s golden age,” he said. “From that moment on, it was nothing but quick and relentless action that led to the biggest and most successful era in our country’s history. We achieved more in 43 days than most governments achieved in four or eight years.
Audiences erupted into the chant “America, America, America” when Trump opened his speech by declaring “America, America, America.”
Since taking office, Trump has rattled his work to break down a handful of achievements, particularly government spending, fraud and inappropriate management in the Department of Government’s Department of Efficiency, secure borders and preview how his tariff plans can lead to an economic “boom” for Americans.

“Every day we stand up and fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight for the nation and people that our citizens believe in,” Trump said in his conclusion. “My fellow Americans are just beginning the golden age of America, and it’s like something I’ve never seen before. Thank you.
2. Sergeant’s Escort Al Green Out, Democrats protest with signs
House Speaker Mike Johnson ordered the sergeant to remove Democrat Texas Rep. Al Green after repeatedly yelling in Trump’s opening remarks.
“Members are intentionally engaged in decoration violations, and the chairman is ready to direct the sergeant to restore order to the joint session,” Johnson warned that a small number of Democrats had confused Trump.
“Mr. Green, take your seat,” he said, Green yelling, waving his cane with a card.

Johnson ordered the sergeant to remove the green from the chamber.
One of Trump’s most vocal critics, Green has already submitted a perk each article against Trump about what he called the “ethnic cleansing of Gaza.”
Democrats were removed from the House room after confusing Trump’s speech to Congress: “Take your seat.”
Some Democrats had warned their colleagues about Trump’s protest before the speech. For example, former chairman of Nancy Pelosi told him, for example, “stew with her own juice.”

But Democrats protested, including staying seated when Trump praised his policies, embracing signs that read “fake,” “lie,” “musk steel,” and “save Medicaid.” Some female Democrats wore pink suits in protest of policies they claimed to be anti-women, while others had heard that they had hit Trump through their speech.
3. Trump respects young women killed by illegal immigrants
Trump celebrated the lives of Rayken Riley and Jocelyn Nungarei.
“Alexis, we have promised that we will always remember your grand daughter, your daughter,” Trump said, turning his attention to Alexis, the mother of Joselyn Nungarei. “And tonight I have signed the orders to keep my words to you. One thing I learned about Jocelyn is that she loved animals so much. She loved nature. Crossing Galveston Bay, where Jocelyn lived in Houston, you will find an untouched and peaceful 34,000 acres of sanctuary, untouched and peaceful, for all of the Gods of the Chief.
12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray was sexually assaulted and murdered by strangulation when two illegal immigrants in their 20s allegedly seduced a young girl under a bridge before killing her in June 2024.

“Her precious Jocelyn walked to a nearby convenience store,” Trump said. “She was lured, tied up, tied up, attacked under a bridge for two hours and terribly murdered. Two illegal alien monsters from Venezuela, arrested and accused of this heinous crime, were released to America with the death of this beautiful 12-year-old girl and all of her mother and family touched great.
Trump also celebrated the life of Laken Riley, 22, when he was found beaten and killed by illegal immigrants in 2024 after going on a run on the University of Georgia campus.

“Laken was viciously attacked, assaulted, beaten, brutal and murdered horribly,” Trump said during his speech. “Leken was stolen from us by a savage, illegal alien.”
Trump signed the Laken Riley Act on his second appointment in January, saying the United States will never forget Riley through a law that detains immigrants and customs enforcement to detain illegal immigrants accused of arrest or theft-related crimes or assaulting police officers.

In his speech, Trump declared that the United States will “never forget our beautiful Laken Riley” through the laws he sang in the law.
“All three savages charged with the murder of Jocelyn and Leiken are members of a Venezuelan prison gang and are the toughest gangsters in the world known as Tren de Aragua,” Trump said. “Two weeks ago, I officially designated this gang as a foreign terrorist organization, along with MS-13 and the bloodthirsty Mexican drug cartel.”
“Right now they’re officially in the same category as ISIS, but that’s not good for them,” he said. “Thousands of these terrorists have been welcomed into the US by the Biden administration, but now the last of all will be forced to be removed from our country.
4. Trump reveals the top terrorists behind the arrested monastery gate attack
During his speech, Trump revealed that the top terrorist suspect behind the 2021 monastery attack in Afghanistan, which killed 13 US service members, has been arrested and headed towards a “speech sword of American justice.”
“Tonight we are pleased to announce that we have arrested a top terrorist who is responsible for the atrocities,” Trump revealed during his speech before the council. “And he’s heading here now to stand up to the swift sword of American justice.”

The suspect has been identified as Muhammad Sharihula, Fox News confirmed.
“And especially I would like to thank the Pakistani government for arresting this monster,” he said. “This was a very important day for the 13 families I actually knew well.”

The Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan led to 13 US Marines, one naval corps and one sailor defending Kabul Airport, leaving hundreds of Americans and tens of thousands of Afghan allies in the country under Taliban control. At least 170 Afghan civilians were injured in the attack, according to a US military investigation.
Families who lost their loved ones during their failed withdrawal had previously repeatedly criticised former President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for the deaths.
Trump made a call with the families of those killed in Afghanistan and revealed he was full of the latest developments.
“I’ve spoken with a lot of my parents and my loved ones, and they’re in our hearts tonight,” Trump said. “I spoke to them on the phone. We made a big call. Each of them called. And everyone was in line and they were happy and wept. They were so happy. You were happy under such circumstances.
5. 13-year-old cancer survivor gets a standing ovation when he becomes a secret service agent
DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old surviving cancer, stole the show on Tuesday evening when the president introduced him to the audience and officially vowed as a member of the Secret Service.
“They’re joining tonight’s gallery, a young man who really loves our police,” Trump told the crowd. “His name is DJ Daniel. He always dreamed of becoming a police officer. However, in 2018, DJ was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Daniel received a standing ovation from the majority of the crowd, but Democrats were seen sitting at various times while Trump spoke about the 13-year-old.

Trump told the audience that Daniel and his father were present, embracing lawmakers cheering on the young boy and on a “quest” to realize his dream of becoming a police officer.
“DJ tonight, we’re going to give you the greatest honor of all of them,” Trump said. “I’m asking new Secret Service Director Sean Curran to officially become an American agent.”

The Secret Service Chief walked over to Daniel and presented him with a customized Secret Service badge, as the audience cheered.
“Thank you, DJ,” Trump said after the crowd began chanting the boy’s name.
