Democrat Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said the United States has become an “oli-headed society” in response to President Donald Trump’s speech to the council meeting on Tuesday evening.
“The Trump administration hasn’t hidden that,” Sanders said in a streamed response to Trump’s speech on Tuesday. “The Trump administration is a billionaire class government by billionaires class, and for the billionaire class. Despite some of their rhetoric, this is a government that can’t care much about the families of ordinary Americans and workers in our country.
Trump’s speech late Tuesday evening was the first time he had attended a joint Congressional meeting since returning to his oval office in January. Trump celebrated the pace of his administration’s fierce executive orders, securing borders and tariff plans during his speech.
“For my fellow citizens, America is back,” Trump declared at the start of his speech after thanking Congress members and First Lady Melania Trump.
Sen. Bernie Sanders says Trump’s speech is “not that much,” and his speech is “better.”

“Six weeks ago I stood under the dome of this Capitol building and declared the dawn of America’s golden age,” he said. “From that moment on, it was nothing but quick and relentless action that led to the biggest and most successful era in our country’s history. We achieved more in 43 days than most governments achieved in four or eight years.
In his response speech, Sanders claimed that Trump had told a handful of “lies.”

“Trump claims that millions of undocumented people voted and voted in the US election. That’s a lie,” Sanders said. “Trump claims that climate change is a hoax originating from China – a lie. He claimed that Ukraine had launched a horrific war with Russia.

“For the past few weeks, he and his good friend Elon Musk have been there in the audience tonight, and have dumped hundreds of thousands of federal employees out of their jobs,” Sanders said. “Now I know there are some of you who say, ‘Well, that’s a shame, you know, but it’s the federal government.” ”

“But I want you to think about this,” he added. “Think for a moment. If Musk and his friends can arbitrarily throw federal workers out on the streets today, do you think Musk and his fellow billionaires will care about you and your family tomorrow when artificial intelligence and robotics explode in this country?
