New Mexico Democrat Melanie Stansbury set out at a House Oversight Committee hearing on Sanctuary cities with Tillard, which prolonged the curse on the Trump administration and the Republican Party, calling the hearing “Absolute Bull – T.”
Testimony at the hearings include Mayor Eric Adams of New York City, Michelle Wu of Boston, Brandon Johnson of Chicago and Mike Johnston of Denver, all Democrats, leading cities with an immigration “sanctuary” policy.
These laws prohibit or limit law enforcement agencies from working with federal immigration authorities to deport illegal immigrants, including criminal charges.
Stansbury, who represents the Blue Border State, came to the sanctuary mayor’s defense and defeated Republicans what she said was an attempt to intimidate local elected officials.

“We hear a lot of crazy things here, so I always think we should save this room after these hearings,” she began. “Our mayor sits here and endures this ridiculous, ridiculous hearing because he has been threatened in front of the American people.”

“I want to reject the basic premise of this hearing,” she continued. “The whole effort is threatening national and local officials, attacking law-abiding immigrant families, spending millions of dollars in taxpayer dollars both in administration and Congress, saying Donald Trump has somehow made America safe.”
“That all bull – t, absolute bull – t,” she cried. “They aren’t making America safe again. What they’re doing is terrifying immigrant families. That’s what they’re doing.”

Stansbury also argued that President Donald Trump “didn’t do with the most basic thing he said he would do, that is to pass immigration reform when he takes office.”

Stansbury raised his hand and looked around the room, saying, “Here is Donald Trump, where is your immigration bill? Oh, you don’t have it, that’s right, because this is actually about making America safer.”
Stansbury also got in the spotlight Tuesday night when he spotted Trump standing on the floor of his house just before a joint speech to Congress, writing, “This isn’t normal.”
