Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who left a seriously injured pedestrian in North Hollywood.
The crash occurred on February 22nd, as a woman from the late ’70s, a woman from the late ’70s, was near the intersection of Bassett Street and Coldwater Canyon Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
At about 7:50am, the suspect in the pickup truck turned left at an intersection and attacked the woman, police said.

Surveillance video was taken the moment the victim was attacked, but the dog could be seen running desperately on the street a few seconds later.
The truck driver continued to speed up and did not stop to check on the injured woman. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
“A driver will remember that if they are involved in a collision, they will need to be safe, notify emergency services and stop immediately if they continue to stay on the scene to identify themselves,” LAPD said. “Motorcyclists are reminded to follow road rules and ride at a safe speed.”
Anyone who provides information that leads to suspect identification, anxiety, or conviction can benefit from a reward of up to $25,000.
