The basketball coach and alternative teachers from the Covina school district were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexual contact with a minor.
Christopher Confia, 34, taught and taught with a coach at the Covina Valley Unified School District from 2021 to February 2025.
“Confair no longer works in Covina Valley Unified School District,” the post read.
No further details about his crime were provided in the post.

Inmate records showed Confair’s bail was set at $100,000 and he was due to return to court on Friday.
According to San Gabriel Vallete Rebune, Confia recently completed her sixth season by coaching the men’s basketball team at Northview High in Covina.
Investigators believe there may be additional casualties that have not progressed.
Police Sergeant Derek Gonzalez told the SGV Tribune that potential victims range from middle school to high school, and detectives have not determined how long the attack took place.
