The 47-year-old South Carolina man faces federal accusations after allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump.
Travisky Slang, 47, of Ilmo, South Carolina, was arrested Thursday before being arrested on federal charges in a Columbia court on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty and was denied the bond.
According to WLTX-TV, Lang is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.

Lang’s indictment, filed Tuesday, said he threatened with “taking, luring him, and causing physical harm to the US president.”
The US Secret Service is investigating the allegations.
Lang will next appear in court for the March 14 bond hearing.

Last year, Lang submitted to the Federal Election Commission to run for president as a Republican, but he was not involved in major Republican votes in South Carolina or anywhere else. According to a FEC filing, the only donation he received was $6,000 from himself.
He could be face-to-face in prison for up to five years, South Carolina’s Daily Gazette reported, citing the US Lawyer’s Office in South Carolina.

Lang’s Facebook page says “Travis Lang for President.” His photos on his social media accounts are the split between his face and Abraham Lincoln.
He was also critical of former President Joe Biden, who wrote on Facebook that Congress should start an article on each of his bullets against him at some point in 2023.
This week, a US lawyer told the judge that Lang had previously posed multiple threats to both Trump and Biden, the newspaper reported, adding that the Secret Service had visited him and told him to stop the threat.

Lang referred to a visit to Secret Service on social media, claiming that he was sent there because Biden was “scary” when Lang decided to run for president.

The threat comes after Trump faced two assassination attempts last year. For example, include when they were grazing with bullets while talking at an outdoor campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July.
Fox News Digital has contacted the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office and the Secret Service for comments.
