These days, cocktails in LA’s well-built restaurants and bars feel like they’re close to $20. Depending on where you are (cough cough, West Side), most home drinks start at over $20.
Well, the Everson Royce Bar in the Arts District has heard about the misery of your budget story, and they responded: As of today, the highly praised bar offers a new under $12 menu section with cocktails and wines in glass. And yes, they are open every night (Tuesday to Saturday).

We have long considered ERB to be one of the best bars in the city, but its seemingly simple burger is one of the best burgers in the city. The indoor and outdoor patio is perfect for large groups, and its premium-priced cocktails have been staying in “sweet spots” for less than $20 for a long time as cocktail prices in town have risen. But having six new under $12 cocktails is a new cherry on top of the ERB

The easily built cocktails are vodka and soda ($10), old-fashioned bourbon ($12), margarita ($12), gin and tonic ($10), mezcal-based grapefruit lunch water ($12), pineapple deiquiri ($11), and six bar classics. If you know anything about the ERB team that runs the relatively new West Altadena wines and spirits, the home well spirit choices wouldn’t be tattered either. ERB throws a $6 lager can tossed for beer submission.
For the wine list on our debut menu, expect $6 for $6 wine, sourced by Pasolo Bull on the Central Coast.
