A woman who lost her home in a devastating fire that swallowed the Palisade, experienced a tearful reunion over the weekend with her beloved cat.
Katherine Kiefer continued to grieve over the loss of a five-year-old Maine Coon cat named Aggie, who disappeared in the flames that destroyed her home on January 7th.
“I was distraught with Aggie and was terrified of the worst,” Kiefer told KTLA’s Sandra Mitchell. “I thought she was gone.”

In just about 60 days in the burning tile ble of the Palisade, volunteers found Aggie, who is starving and very scary, alive. The cat was rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital. This is how Kiefer will eventually reunite with the animals.

“It was aggies, skin, bones,” she explained. “I don’t know who will survive or how.”
While Aggie is recovering, GoFundMe is organised to help with the cost of veterinary bills.
