President Donald Trump announced the appointment of Michael George Desunble to serve as the next US Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific.
Trump made the announcement Tuesday, posting on the true social society that Desunble served during his first term as the president’s ambassador for the Kingdom of Thailand.
Desunble is a partner of Sullivan Cromwell and leads mergers and acquisitions in Asia.
He also graduated from Harvard Law School. Additionally, Desombre attended Stanford University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies.

“Michael knows that we work incredibly hard for our country,” Trump wrote.
The president also announced that he tapped Paolo Zampoli to serve as a special envoy for the global partnership.
Trump said his extensive experience working with Zampoli’s UN, the Kennedy Center and various international initiatives will help the Trump administration advance American interests on the global stage.

Trump announced he has chosen Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Mayor Bill Bazzi also served as US ambassador to the Republic of Tunisia.
Bazzi, written by Trump, is an decorated US Marine who served the country for 21 years.
He also worked as a quality manager at Boeing and a product development engineer at Ford Motor Company.

After 22 years at Ford, Bazzi retired early to serve as mayor of Dearborn Heights.
“Buzzi worked so hard to help us secure our historic victory in the 2024 presidential election and we look forward to seeing the great things he accomplishes for our country,” Trump wrote of the truth. “congratulations!”

In another post, Trump announced that Dr. Angi Sinha was his choice to serve as Singapore’s US ambassador, calling her “a highly respected entrepreneur with an incredible family.”
“Singapore’s relationship with the US is essential and there is no doubt that Anji has strongly represented our country’s interests and put America first,” the president wrote of the truth. “congratulations!”
