The suspect was arrested after it was discovered that the man was shot dead in Pomona.
The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Jose Okendo Jr. of Pomona, according to the Pomona Police Department.
On March 4th, police responded to a man’s report in the 1600 block of Indian Hill Boulevard around 7:40pm
Officials have discovered James Bunch, 31, a victim of Pomona, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he was declared dead. The gunman had fled the scene before police arrived.
Detectives later identified the egg as the main suspect. He is in custody and is being held on $3.05 million bail.
On March 10, he was charged with murder and is a felon in possession of a firearm by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The motivation behind the shooting is under investigation.
