Jack Teisheyla, a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard, who was convicted of leaking highly classified documents about the war in Ukraine, used his court Thursday to describe himself as a “proud patriot” trying to expose the “lie” of the Biden administration.
After pleading guilty to a military accusation of obstructing justice, the 23-year-old knew that his actions were illegal, but felt that he needed to share the truth about how the Biden administration, in his view, misleading the war in Ukraine.
“If I saved Americans, Russians, or Ukraine’s lives for this pointless money-making war, my punishment is worth it,” he said.
Teisheira is similar to President Donald Trump, claiming he was also a weaponized Justice Department victim. He called on the Trump administration to “consider my deep state’s actions, no matter how embarrassing I am, to consider my double prosecution and punishment, with an eye to reversing my deep state’s actions and showing the truth.”

Teixeira was sentenced to 15 years in prison last year after pleading guilty to six counts of intentional retention and sending defense information in federal court based on espionage after his arrest, which he was arrested for sharing confidential documents in Discord Chatroom.

There are world-famous leaks regarding Russian wars in Ukraine, including information on military movements in Ukraine and provision of supplies and equipment to Ukrainian forces. The document also revealed an assessment of Taiwan’s defensive capabilities and internal debate in the UK, Egypt, Israel, South Korea and Japan. Teisheira also allowed him to post information about the US enemy’s plans to harm US troops serving overseas.

Teisheira, North Dyton, Massachusetts, worked as an information technology expert in charge of military communications networks. His lawyer described Teisheira as an isolated autistic individual who spent most of his time online, especially in his incompatible community.

A security breaches forced the Biden administration to try to contain diplomatic and military fallout. The leak also made the Pentagon embarrassed. The Pentagon had increased control to protect the classified information and protected disciplined members who were found to have been deliberately failed to take necessary measures in regards to Teisheira’s suspicious behavior.
