A girl unconsciously knocked during a fight in the classroom at the Imperial Middle School inland

The rage of the masses is growing after a fight in Colton’s middle school classroom makes the girl unconscious. This is an incident that was filmed on video that caused accusations of racial bias.

The fight occurred Monday morning at Jehue Middle School, 1500 N. Eucalyptus Ave., according to the Colton Police Department.

In the video, a much larger Latino boy is working on a little black girl as he grabs a laptop from his desk and blows it over his head. The boy then slams the girl’s head into the desk, knocking her unconscious, drawing gasp from the other students.

Police say both students are 14 years old and they were issued a quote and released by their parents.

But many say that it’s not enough. The California Legislative Caucus has issued a statement calling for “full investigation” and “accountability,” describing the incident as “a brutal assault on a young black student.” The unedited video contained some audible racial slander.

“All students, especially our young black girls, deserve to be safe, appreciated and protected while on school campus,” the statement said.

While some people, including activist Najee Ali, believe the boy should be expelled and the girl should be exempt from fraud, police believe the girl incited the incident.

“The Colton Police Station said the girl was quoted for the attack with a deadly weapon after allegedly attacking the boy in the head with a metal hydro flask before the recorded video began,” news radio station KFI reported. “On the other hand, the boy was quoted for the battery, not for video incidents but for previous horse play with water pistols.”

Colton Police Sergeant Mike Sandoval told San Bernardino San that the girl faces felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and the teen has been charged with misdemeanor battery. Both were suspended from school and potentially discharged.

As for the motivation behind the fight, Sandoval said it appears to be inherently racial.

“There’s absolutely no indication of that,” Sandoval told the Sun.

It is unclear which actions were taken by adults during lead-up to the incident and immediately after the incident.

School officials say an alternative teacher was in charge of the classroom and the school’s safety officer was called.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, the Rialto Unified School District said in a statement.

“The district does not tolerate violent behavior by students and does not tolerate hate speech on any campus,” the statement said.
