The suspect wanted to pistol whip and robbery the two outside a smoke shop in Los Angeles’ Fairfax area. It was found relatively fast after being spotted driving in a yellow Lamborghini on Thursday night.
Police say the four suspects were allegedly involved in assault and robbery at a smoke shop on Melrose Avenue involving 12 men and at least two vehicles.
The suspect lured two victims into a smoke shop with the promise to film the music video around 9pm, Los Angeles police told news station KABC. The store was in the 7200 block of Melrose Avenue, police said.
The suspect then whipped a pistol, snatched two victims, cut one into his head and knocked part of the other tooth. The suspect was made with gems and firearms in two vehicles – a black BMW sedan and a yellow Lamborghini Urus, reported the station.
Police were able to find a Lamborghini in the San Fernando Valley about 30 minutes later. When officers tried to pull the vehicle, they began chasing after him. Lamborghini headed to Ventura County, where police captured the suspect in the Gate Moor Park community about 45 minutes after the pursuit began. The California Highway Patrol and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department assisted in searching for the suspect, and LAPD took the suspect into custody.
According to LAPD, the four men were arrested on suspicion of robbery. Authorities say police recovered a 9mm handgun taken from the victim, but there was no additional information regarding anything else that was stolen.
The black BMW suspect has not been caught.
