Two suspects were arrested after it was discovered that a man had been shot dead in San Bernardino.
The suspects were identified as 21-year-old Carlos Porfirio Garcia and 36-year-old Willie Devon Johnson.
On March 8, San Bernardino police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1100 block of West Baseline Street just after 8am.
Upon arrival, officers spotted the man lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital, where despite efforts to save his life, he died of injuries.
The murder detective began an investigation and later identified Garcia and Johnson as the main suspects.
On March 12th, Garcia was taken into custody in the 1100 block of West Baseline Street. The next day, Johnson was arrested in the 1500 block of West Virginia Avenue.
Details of the motives behind the murder, or whether the suspect and victim are known to each other, remain unknown.
Detectives are looking for witnesses who were in the area when the shooting occurred.
