The inmate who fled the Los Angeles facility was arrested by authorities on Saturday night.
According to the California Department of Amendments and Rehabilitation, 27-year-old Delhi Phillips was serving a sentence at a women’s community’s re-entry program facility when she fled around 2:40pm.
Authorities began searching for the building and site, but she was not found anywhere.
She was 5 feet 8 inches tall and was said to weigh 369 pounds. She had brown eyes and black hair, and finally saw her wearing a patterned black and white top, black leggings and purple Crocs shoes.
Phillips was hospitalized at the center on November 9th, 2023. She has been working for eight years on second-degree attempted murder with reinforcement that caused major physical injuries. She was originally received from Imperial County.

At about 9:50pm, Phillips surrendered himself to the CDCR authorities in Pacoima. She will be rebuilt in prison and her case will be referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office to consider the suspected escape.

The Women’s Community Re-entry Program allows eligible offenders to make their transition into the community to commit to state prisons and serve the end of sentences at re-entry centres. This is a voluntary program for female offenders left to serve within two years.
CDCR officials said 99% of those imprisoned who fled or left adult facilities, camps or facilities have been arrested.
