President Donald Trump ordered the dismantling of the voices of news agencies, a US-funded media outlet that Trump opposed to promote biased media coverage.
“Voice of America has been out of phase with America for years. It serves as a radical American voice and has been pushing divisive propaganda for years,” a White House official told Fox News Digital.
Trump signed the executive order on Friday. This orders the dismantling of seven government agencies, including the US global media agency.
“The following non-uniform components and functions of government agencies shall be excluded to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law, and such organizations shall reduce the performance of their statutory functions and associated personnel to the minimum presence and functions required by law,” reads EO.

Lake Kali, who was appointed VOA’s next chief in December, is currently a senior advisor to the US global media agency, instructing employees to “check emails” for more information about employment futures.
