Karoline Leavitt Slams Judge James Boasberg’s deportation order

The White House, deemed “too late” by Central American leaders who accepted deportation over the weekend, criticized federal judges’ attempts to halt the Trump administration’s recent deportation flights.

On Friday, President Donald Trump invoked the alien enemy law of 1798. The law has only been called three times in US history. During the war in 1812, World War I and World War II.

US District Judge James Boasberg recently ordered an immediate halt to deportation to determine whether Trump’s call to the 1798 Act is legal, but officials in the Trump administration told Fox News that planes carrying immigrants have already left our airspace when the judge issued the order.

In a statement to Fox News Sunday, White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said the Trump administration “did not refuse” to “comply with” the court order.

“The order without legitimate basis was issued after the terrorists [Tren de Aragua] Aliens were already excluded from US territory,” Leavitt said. “Written orders and the government’s actions are not inconsistent.”

“In addition, as the Supreme Court has repeatedly made clear, federal courts generally have no power to remove the president’s diplomacy, his authority under the Foreign Enemy Act, and his core Section II powers from the US soil and to repel declared aggression,” Lewitt added. “A single judge in a single city cannot direct the movement of an aircraft carrier full of foreign alien terrorists physically expelled from the US soil.”

On Sunday, El Salvador President Naive Bukere responded to Boasberg’s orders, joking on the X-Post, “ooopsie…too late.” He also shared footage of heavily armed Salvador authorities escorting suspicious gang members from the plane, shaving their heads and curling them into prison cells.

A total of 261 illegal aliens were deported from the United States to El Salvador yesterday. Of these, 137 were removed through the Alien Enemy Act of 1798, 101 were removed via Title 8, while another 21 were Salvador’s MS-13 gang members. The other two were “special cases” of the masterminds of the MS-13 and El Salvador.

A Trump administration official checked the figures on Sunday with Fox News, explaining that alleged immigrant crimes include inducements, child sexual abuse, aggravated assault, prostitution, robbery and aggravated attacks by police.

Emma Colton of Fox News Digital contributed to this report.
