Las Vegas police and the FBI are investigating a fire involving several vehicles at the Tesla crash center in Las Vegas.
The fire was reported at a press conference Tuesday around 2:45am on Tuesday, Deputy Sheriff Dolly Collen said he learned of the fire after police received several 911 calls.
“One caller said that there was a subject who heard a gunshot and had burned multiple vehicles in black clothing,” he said.
Police said the suspects will be seen in a video announced at a press conference. Five vehicles were damaged.
“He used multiple Molotov cocktails and what looked like firearms to make the attack.
The word “resistance” was spray painted on the front entrance of the Tesla Center. Police said a pointless Molotov cocktail was found in one of the cars.
There were two posts on Elon Musk’s X account. Fire was called “terrorism.”
“This level of violence is insane and deeply wrong,” read the second post. “Tesla was just building electric cars and did nothing worthy of these evil attacks.”

“Indeed, there has been an increase in people across the country who feel empowered to commit acts of violence. In this case, for some political reasons, it may be their bias against Tesla facilities and vehicles and their owners.”
Other cases of targeted attacks have been reported in California, Kansas, Seattle, and other cities involving Tesla vehicles or dealers.
Koren said police presence will increase around Tesla facilities in Las Vegas. Police and the FBI urged people with fire videos and suspects to call (702) 828-7777.
