Notable figures in the hip-hop community have been hit by sportsstar terror, trickery, robbery, and Rico and other charges suspected of murdering a young rapper under his guidance.

Eugene “Big U” Henley, a longtime leader of Rollin’ Neighborhood Crips in the ’60s, and several other associates were named in a U.S. Department of Justice affidavit released Wednesday.

That set of clips is well known for hip-hop, especially given the excellence of late rapper Nipsey Hussle, and prosecutors say it served as Henry’s muscle to force its members to dominate the Los Angeles area and to “check in” and pay protection fees. He also allegedly forced the same to party and gambling organizers in the area.

“Henry and other supporters are trying to convince the public that “check-in” provides safety and security to those who do so, as stated in this book, but Henry and Big U Enterprises are manufacturing a very dangerous thing they insist on protecting them,” federal officials said in their affidavit.

The affidavit explains that it explains, but it didn’t affect his position in the hip-hop community.

“If I were to describe Big U’s role in rap, he would definitely be the godfather,” Wiz Khalifa said in the docusary, “Hip-hop was discovered,” as reported by The Los Angeles Times. “I can’t do anything without consulting him. He’s the only guy who can move his way.”

“Check-in” was not Henry’s sole source of income.

As details of the Times are described, businesses and celebrities such as NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Draymond Green were said to have been convinced to donate to Henry’s charity.

He is also accused of organizing a cannabis dispensary robbery that will stop paying for protections and gaining money from the LA mayor’s office through the Gang Reduction Youth Development Program and the federal government of Pandemic Lily Frone.

The accusations mentioned in the affidavit include the influence of the organization affected by Racketeer and the transport of individuals in interstate commercial transactions with the intention of intrigue, interfering with commercial transactions through robbery, and the fraud of individuals in prostitution and banking.

Although not listed as a charge, authorities claim that Henry killed young rapper Rayshaun Williams in 2021.

Henry remains a fugitive, officials said.
