Authorities have identified a man who confronted his mother and her son, pushed his way into Arcadia’s home, and apparently killed the boy’s father before fleeing to China.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office murder detective has issued a bail arrest warrant for Zeha-O-Ru, a 41-year-old Chinese citizen who had sought murder in connection with the March 11th murder.
Lu is suspected of a 43-year-old woman and her 13-year-old son standing up in the driveway and forcing him inside the house. Detectives say that when they enter, Lou shot the boy’s 61-year-old father before fleeing.
“The tragic murders… arise from a conflict between two individuals known to each other,” Arcadia Police Chief Roy Nakamura said in a news release. “Our deepest sympathy goes out to the victims’ families during this incredibly difficult time.”
LA County prosecutors charged LU with one count of murder, two counts of assault with a semi-automatic handgun, and one count of robbery with attendees to commit a felony against LU.
Lu is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to have fled to China, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. The warrant includes an order of extradition.
The victim’s identity has not been released without the next notice of the near-kin, officials said.
