The Republican senator has vowed to continue to speak out for some of the Trump administration’s actions, even if it means putting a billionaire Elon Musk at risk.

Sen. Lisa Markovsky, who previously insisted on the actions taken by the Government Efficiency (DOGE), suggested that it could have “incredibly nasty” outcomes, and that Musk could “escape from Starlink, attack me directly, take it directly to me.”

“And you know that might happen. But I haven’t given up on a minute. It’s one of the opportunities to stand up for the Alaskan,” the senator, whose term rose in 2029, said Tuesday while talking to Alaskan voters. “I’m going to criticize you coming.”

Murkowski also suggested that instead of opposing the administration for fear that other lawmakers will be primed in the next election, they would choose “ducks and covers.”

“That’s why it made everyone feel absent from saying the words, because they’re worried they’ll be defeated. “What do you know? We can’t be cowed to not talk.”

Republicans also opposed Trump and Vice President JD Vance following a heated meeting with Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelensky at the White House.

“This week started with administrative authorities refusing to admit that Russia has begun a war in Ukraine. It ends with a tense, shocking conversation in an oval office, whispering from the White House that it may end all U.S. support in Ukraine.”

“I know that foreign policy is not for the faint of heart, but for now I’m tired of my stomach as the administration appears to be releasing Putin from our allies.

The billionaire has proposed his potential involvement in future GOP elections in response to a report posted to X, saying in a November 2024 post, “How else? There’s no other way.”

“Until the Alaskans tell me, Lisa, it’s just not working anymore, I’ll give you all the last breaths, and I’m not going to compromise on my own integrity by hiding from my words when I feel they need to speak,” Murkowski said Tuesday.

The senator said she would find a “constructive” way to work with him while she has disagreement with Trump.
