A gas leak in Riverside County has prompted forced evacuation, authorities announced Thursday.
Details are limited and it is unclear exactly what burst, but authorities first notified the public about the leak at about 11:30am in the 1300 block of State Street in San Jacinto
In the 6:30pm update, authorities said an evacuation order remains.
The crows are nested north in the south of the canal west of Buena Vista, east of Palm.
Additionally, the evacuation order has been downgraded to warnings.

In a previous Twitter post to X shortly after 3:30pm, the Riverside County Fire Department said Socalgas was on the scene and was “working to mitigate leaks.”
For residents of the San Jacinto area affected by the gas leak, the Care and Reception Centre, formerly at Takitz High School, has been moved to Hemet High School, at 41701 Stetson Avenue, officials said.
