Two high-speed pursuits in Orange County, involving two stolen Prius, ended Friday when both suspects were taken into custody after one driver fled to the port of Sunset Beach, authorities said.
Huntington Beach police initially discovered a stolen Toyota Prius in Newport Beach and began pursuing it.
A white Prius crashed near downtown Huntington Beach, and a female driver was quickly taken into custody on the bystanders.

The grey Prius continues to escape and eventually crashes at Sunset Beach after police deployed a spike strip. The male driver abandoned the vehicle and jumped into the port in an attempt to escape.
The Lifeguard and Orange County Sheriff’s Deputy ultimately pulled the suspect out of the water. Both suspects were taken into custody.
Witnesses near the Pacific Coast Highway wrote a dramatic scene on a KTLA chip, explaining that police were chasing the suspect and responding quickly to the incident.
The investigation is underway.
