SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) – The suspect accused of murdering his wife, the San Diego County CAL firefighter, has been arrested in Baja California, Mexico.
Authorities in Baja, California, announced that Yolanda Orezinikzak has been arrested for the stab wounds of his estranged wife, Captain Cal Fire, Rebecca Malodi.

Malody was found deadly stabbed at her home in the San Diego County community in Ramona.
Orezinikzak was running for about a month after she was identified as the main suspect in the case and was believed to have fled to Mexico.

US officials in San Diego County had requested that they help discover Orezinikizak in Mexico. She was arrested by FESC near a hotel in Mexicali.

After verifying her identity, Mexican authorities returned Oreziniczack to US custody.

Court records obtained by Fox 5 show that Orezinikizak pleaded voluntary manslaughter in the early 2000s after fatally stabbing her estranged husband James Orezizak in San Bernardino County.
