(Hill) – Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Thursday that at least 300 foreign students had revoked their visas within the Trump administration’s immigration agenda.
“Maybe it’s over 300 at this point,” Rubio said at a press conference in Guyana when asked to confirm Axios’s report on the issue.
“We do that every day. Every time we find one of these crazy people, I take their visa,” he added.
“We’ve removed all of them, so we hope we run out at some point, but we’re looking for these crazy guys every day who’s ripping things apart.”
Axios first reported that visas for 300 foreign students have been revoked and that administrative authorities are trying to block university students from too many “Prohama” students from recognizing international individuals.
Oka reached out to the State Department for comment.
This number comes from Columbia University, Tufts and the University of Alabama, as the Trump administration’s crackdown on pro-Palestinian foreign students is escalating.
In addition to student visa owners, the Trump administration is chasing several permanent residents, including Mahmoud Khalil, who holds a green card.
