Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz said Democrats were in the current chaos because they weren’t “bold enough” to stand up to diversity, equity, inclusion and immigration.

The former vice presidential candidate appeared alongside former Congressman Beto O’Rourke at a town hall event in Rosenberg, Texas on Thursday. He told the supporters, “I’m just going to be careful about this s– show [Signal] The ongoing text chain may have used a bit of diversity, equity and inclusion for the people there. ”

“So I think I own this. When I see people coming back and businesses coming back to the threat, I know that we are doing this rather than knowing that it’s not only morally right, but economically right.

“We’ve been talking about this for years as a country of immigration. We’ve had them define issues relating to immigration. We’ve made them define issues relating to Day and what awakened,” declared Walz. “We acquired ourselves in this mess, because it wasn’t enough to stand up and say, ‘You care that you’re proud of these policies. We’re going to put them in and we’re going to do them.” ”

Waltz added that Republicans “use fear” and “they intend to do everything they can.

“What I say is we need to make sure we are highly organized,” he told the audience.

“One of the groups that we have greatly benefited from understanding that we have diversity, equity, inclusion and surrounding policies is that the veterans themselves are for employment. Veterans are part of the group when the federal government hires people based on that,” Walz said.

“The rest, as we all know, in Minnesota, as we all know, is pretty white, quite cold, as we see in the Northern Hemisphere, as we see in the Northern Hemisphere, and 70% of the workforce for the next 20 years will come from communities of color,” he added. “Our very existence depends on diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Last week, Trump said the waltz helped the Democrats lose in the 2024 election.

Trump’s comments came in response to a statement that Waltz provided on a podcast with California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“Well, he’s a loser. Yes, no, I think so. He lost the election,” Trump said. “He played the role. Usually the Vice President doesn’t play the role, they say. I think Tim was so bad that he hurt her, but she hurt herself, and Joe hurt both.
