Trump administrators hold planned custody funds for violation of executive order: Report

President Donald Trump’s administration told several planned parent-child officials on Monday that it had withheld funds due to possible violations of the Civil Rights Act, according to reports.

Politico reported tens of millions of dollars being withheld from Planned Parenthood Clinics, which provides low-income American services such as birth control, STI testing and other health services.

On Monday, nine state affiliates of plan parents who receive money from the federal government through their family planning program Title X were notified that their funds were “temporarily withheld.”

The publication said the letter, provided by planning parents, was directed at “possible violations” of Trump’s executive orders, including a ban on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.

Another Trump policy said the family planning program, which allegedly violated, was linked to “open border taxpayer subsidies.”

The chapters of planning parents who received the letter were mostly in GOP-controlled states, the publication states. The administration also pointed to evidence of the violation by citing mission statements from the clinic and other documents highlighting “commitment to the Black community.”

Amy Margolis, deputy director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Public Relations Office, reportedly claimed that the materials “paint a picture of a Plannard parent.”

The letter also denies parent-child relationships who planned to encourage illegal aliens to take care of.

Planned Parenthood has 10 days to respond to letters and provide evidence that they plan to comply with the president’s executive order. Once management is provided, the administration decides whether to suspend or terminate the grant.

Planned Parenthood and HHS did not respond to requests for comment regarding issues with Fox News Digital.

In a social media post, Planned Parenthood says, “When we say, ‘Please, care,’ we mean it. The doors at Planned Parenthood Health Centers are open to everyone. We have fought for decades to protect your care.

In another post, Planned Parenthood directed its supporters to its website and submitted a letter to Congress regarding funds.

“Trump administrators withhold Title X. They strip the nation of health care more,” the Post read. “We know what happens when Title X’s funds are taken away. Cancer is not detected, access to birth control is significantly reduced, and the STI crisis is exacerbated. People will suffer.”

HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon reportedly told Politico that payments to 16 TitleX providers, including nine planned parent-child officials, have been withheld.

He explained that the reason behind withholding is to “ensure that these entities are fully compliant with federal law and applicable grant terms and ensure the responsible stewardship of taxpayers.”

He further stated that of Title X’s more than $200 million budget, $27.5 million has been frozen and is under review.
