The Los Angeles County soldier is one of four people killed in a training exercise in Lithuania last month.
The New York Times reports that four soldiers were reported missing last week when an armored vehicle sank into the marsh.
“Four US soldiers from the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Infantry Division were reported to have disappeared early on March 25th.

Among the dead is a 25-year-old sergeant. Edvin F. Franco of Glendale. Jose Duenez Jr., 25, of Illinois and PFC. Dante D. Titano, 21, of Guam, was a tank system maintainer for the M1 Abrams.
The fourth soldier has not been publicly identified, but the Army confirmed that the fourth body was placed on Tuesday, a day after three other bodies and an armored vehicle were removed from the marsh.
“The past week has been devastating. Today, our minds carry the weight of pain that we cannot stand with the loss of our ultimate dogface soldier,” said Major General Christopher Norley, commander general of the 3rd Infantry Division. “We’ve had some closure, but the world is dark without them.”
