A woman seeking a jog in Ventura city has found herself fighting the alleged temptation suspected and fled with the help of a good Samaritan driving late last month, officials said.
The horrifying March 25th ordeal reportedly unfolded near the intersection of Telegraph Road and Nevada Avenue just before 2:45pm.
The victim told officers responding that she stopped jogging at the intersection as the unidentified victim had never suddenly seen a man she didn’t know about and was wearing headphones, so she was wrapped around her arms in a “bear embrace” and that she stopped jogging at the intersection.
“The victims were free to flee, fight, and violate the suspects,” the release said.

Another woman driving in the area witnessed the suspect. He is now identified as Vincent Dominguez, now 28-year-old Ventura resident, and he approached a female jogger from behind to grab her, pulling her car and urged her to get the victim into the car.

Authorities added that when a good Samaritan escaped the scene on foot, he was able to take some photos of the 28-year-old.
Fortunately, the victim was not seriously injured when he attempted to lure him.
Photos of Dominguez were circulating on social media, as police investigated, as they found additional surveillance cameras in the area. Authorities say the 28-year-old detective and the Ventura resident who recognized the detective was able to confirm his identity.
He was later arrested at his residence and booked at the Ventura County Jail for attempting to lure him.
Authorities did not provide any additional information, including the date of the suspect’s arrest.
