Four Oxnard residents face federal charges in connection with an armed robbery earlier this year.
In a press release, the FBI identified four:
Erasmo Jose Corral, 19 Wendy Xitlali Gutierrez, 21 Sylvia Martinez, 51 Ramon Olvera, 29
Investigators said the four took home depot in Oxnard on January 4th and Walmart on January 7th.
“In both cases, Coral wore a handgun and targeted the store’s employees, as he and his conspirators fled with stolen items,” the release said.
Coral and Gutierrez were arrested by the Oxnard Police Station during a traffic stop following the robbery at Walmart, and during that stop, officers allegedly found a loaded handgun that fits the weapon used in the robbery.

Almost three months later, on March 29, Martinez and Orvera were arrested by OPD officers and transferred to federal custody two days later.
All four suspects: robbery interference in commercial and robbery interference in commercial transactions.
Each of the robbery charges is sentenced to a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison.
Coral was also a felon with a firearm and possessing a firearm and ammunition during a robbery, and was charged with possessing more than five grams of methamphetamine for intent to sell.
Corral’s extra charges charge a maximum of seven years for swinging, 15 years to be a felony in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and 40 years in possession of Meth. The FBI said that Corral’s additional statements will be applied consecutively and will result in a maximum of 82 years in total sentence.
All four are expected to maintain federal custody until they reach trial.
