A “squad” member interrogated by Fox News Digital, a leading lawmaker from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York refused to answer whether he believed the Democratic inflammatory rhetoric of Elon Musk had a connection to violent attacks and vandalism against Tesla owners and dealers across the country.

Ocasio-Cortez also refused to answer whether she still owns Tesla, citing “security reasons.”

Democrats have been critical of Musk for his role in leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with some who have been named by him as “Nazis” and “threat to democracy.”

The lawmaker also criticized Doge Chief on the X-Post March 1, saying, “This guy is a regular leech.”

“Even if he gets millions of millions on tax cuts or government contracts, that’s not enough for him. Now he’s chasing older children, disabled and orphan children, so he can pocket it with tax cuts. That’s annoying,” she wrote.

D-Vt. On a “Fight Oligarchy” rally tour with Senator Bernie Sanders, Cortez claimed that “extreme concentration and corruption are taking over this country more than ever.”

Fox News Digital asked Cortez if he saw the connection between the language and violent incidents around the country.

Cortez began to respond by saying, “Yeah, I’ve seen Republicans call me a communist and think I hate this country.”

Pressing whether she still owns the Tesla Model 3 she bought in 2020, Cortez declined to answer by saying, “Um, for security reasons, I haven’t commented.”

After weeks of Democrats denounced Musk for his role in the crew, there have been at least 80 vandalism against Tesla vehicles in the US and Canada, and at least 10 vandalism and arson incidents on Tesla dealers, charging stations and facilities.

US Attorney General Pam Bondy said the Justice Department treats the incident as “domestic terrorism.”

On March 20, the Department of Justice accused three people of domestic terrorism after allegedly attacking Tesla facilities across the country using Molotov cocktails.

“The days of committing crimes without consequences are over,” Bondy said. “Let’s make this a warning. If you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla’s property, the Department of Justice will put you behind the bar.”

All three face charges for five years and up to 20 years in prison said.

Nevertheless, few Democrats opposed the destroyers. Key leaders such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) and D-Calif Rep. Nancy Pelosi declined to comment on the issue.

Senator Dem, who abandoned Tesla to protest masks, refuses to call violence against cars “domestic terrorism.”

She would not comment on her fearful behavior towards Tesla’s owners and workers, but Ocasio-Cortez, considered one of the country’s leading democratic voices, accused Republican opponents of engaging in “stochastic terrorism” and promoting security by using inflammatory language to incite violent behavior and criticizing her.

Speaking about CNN in 2023, she said, “It’s uncomfortable to serve people that many experts consider to be probabilistic terrorism. This is not someone who is not using weapons themselves, as it is an inciting violence using digital means and large platforms.

“I consistently had to ride a 20,000-pound armored vehicle. “This isn’t just a tweet. It’s about how life looks like for millions of people to do something, hundreds, thousands of people marshalling.”

In the same interview, she also accused President Donald Trump of recognizing his rhetoric Stokes violence, saying “he used his rally very strategically to engage in political intimidation that he regarded as his political enemy.”

Peter D’Abrosca and Sarah Rumpf-Whitten of Fox News Digital contributed to this report.
