President Donald Trump’s national security adviser Mike Waltz has repeatedly landed in hot water, starting with a fuss from Democrats over leaks of signal chats with snowballed national security officials.

But Trump and his administration have repeatedly defended national security leaders publicly.

The battle, previously decorated as a Florida House of Representatives and as an ornamented combat green beret, has fired from Democrats and critics since March, when Atlantic magazine editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg announced his in-person account about Atlantic Magazine’s editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg being added to a signal group chat with top national security leaders, including the superintendent of Waltz, Peag and John Ratcliffe’s secretary, including the secretary of John Litliffe. terrorist.

Signal is an encrypted messaging app that works in the same way as texting and making calls, but there are additional security measures to ensure that communications with what is included in the communication are kept private.

The Atlantic report characterized the Trump administration as a text message on a “war plan” about a planned strike against the Hooty rebels in Yemen. However, the Trump administration claims that no material classified as chat was sent, and Trump has repeatedly defended the waltz amid fallout.

NSC confirms that Mike Waltz and staff used Gmail for government communication

“The president made it so clear that Mike Waltz continues to be an important part of his national security team,” Trump Administration Press Office’s Caroline Leavitt told the media in a simple statement outside the White House publishing room on Monday afternoon. “And this incident is now closed here at the White House as far as we are concerned.”

“There were steps to ensure that something like that clearly wouldn’t happen again,” she continued. “And we are moving forward, and the President, Mike Waltz and his entire national security team have worked together very well.

Trump reveals who was behind the signal text chain leak

Fox News Digital compiled a timeline of accusations and rage directed at Waltz since the Atlantic’s initial report on chat leaks.

March 24: The Atlantic publishes a report that Goldberg has been added to the signalling chat where national security leaders claimed they were discussing “war plans” with each other. The Senate Intelligence Committee calls on Waltz and Hegses to step down. March 25: Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe joined the annual Senate Intelligence Committee hearings and reports, with no confidential material being shared in the chat. Waltz added that “100%” personally didn’t know Goldberg before the signal’s fiasco. “I’m totally responsible. I’ve built a group,” Waltz said on March 25th in “Ingraham’s Angle.” 26: Politico reports to an anonymous source and discovers that Trump is irritated with the waltz over the leak, and the president publicly defends the waltz as a “very good man.” A “horror” about Trump. Waltz also doubled the signaling messages published in the Atlantic article “There is no place or way. No war plan.” March 26: Leavitt says Elon Musk and his government efficiency team will help investigate signal leaks. Joining NBC News’ Kristen Welker, he says Waltz’s claims are “simply not true” that the two have never met or talked about. March 31: Lewitt declares the signal case “closed” and reiterates that “Mike Waltz continues to be an important part of his national security team.” NSC spokesman Brian Hughes pushed back the Washington Post report in a comment provided on Fox Digital on Thursday. About his personal email account or unsecured platform. “This is the latest attempt to divert Americans from President Trump’s successful national security agenda, protecting our country. Surveillance Democrats are opening an investigation into Waltz’s use of Gmail. Pril2: Politico reports that Waltz’s office has set up at least 20 different signal group chats to coordinate with other officials. The NSC pushes back signals that it is permitted on government devices and is an app used by both the Biden and Trump administrations. “Signals are approved encrypted messaging apps, and NSC officials sending sensitive information through these channels are incorrect. “Some of the NSC use signal apps, like media and many areas of the federal government. As testified at a Congressional hearing last week, there are federal agencies that automatically install apps on government devices. It is appropriate to use signals to send uncategorized information, and these same facts have been reported multiple times in the past few days.
