Senate Republicans on Thursday cleared the final voting path on the latest version of the budget to push for President Trump’s several key agenda items, including the Southern border, and extend the 2017 tax cuts.
An allegation was agreed to continue in the Senate the Senate day after Senate Budget Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced the House budget plan amendments.
The Senate agreed to the motion by votes of 52-48 along the party line. The only exception was Sen. Rand Paul, who voted against it. Paul criticizes the provisions of the budgetary framework for debt caps.
Changes by the Senate include increasing the debt cap by up to $5 trillion and making Trump’s tax cuts permanent, using what is known as the current policy baseline decided by the chairman.

Thursday’s move will begin almost a day’s worth of debate before the “voting for the Llama” begins. The marathon corrections are expected to take place at some point on the Friday afternoon or evening after discussion is over.
During the llama voting, senators are able to introduce unlimited number of amendments, many are expected to get floor votes.

The home will need to take it up again as it is scheduled to be done at some point on Saturday after the Senate amended budget resolution passes.
This is an important step for the Republicans in their quest to achieve Trump’s priorities through the budget adjustment process. This important budget process will lower the Senate voting threshold from 60 to 51, allowing the GOP to pass things without the support of their Democratic counterparts. The settlement is considered an important tool for the Republican Trial in Washington to pass Trump’s policies.

Early on, Republicans in the House and Senate were split over how to organize important resolutions. House Republican leaders mostly liked to have one settlement bill that addressed both borders and tax cuts, while Senate Republicans wanted to separate the issue into two bills.
House Republicans have made it clear that they would only accept one settlement bill, which includes border funding and tax cut extensions, as there is little room for opposition for the majority.

Each room passed a preferred solution, but Trump’s support for one bill on multiple occasions put the House strategy on top. Senate Republicans themselves described their resolution as a backup plan for the House.
